Mark
Edwards
Born in Wales and based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Mark never sets out to simply paint a picture. His aim is to interpret the subject in a captivating way, capturing the personality of your loved ones and engaging the imagination of the viewer.
Marks artistic approach is fluid, vibrant and immediate. He draws and paints freely, constructing layers that give the work depth. For Mark, drawing is the foundations needed to construct a composition.

Marks background as a Visual Designer allows for much versatility when creating commissions. With a wealth of experience across painting, drawing and graphics, this experience in many different aspects of art has helped Mark develop an easily adaptable style which is beneficial when working with client’s commissions; “It affords me the malleability to both cater exactly for the client’s needs and express my own personality within the art”.

HISTORY
Originally from Abergavenny, South Wales, Mark grew up in the countryside and was inspired by the ever-changing landscapes surrounding him. After graduating with a first class honor in Visual communication from The University of Wales Swansea, Mark went on to work in the creative industry for the following 10 years. Moving from Swansea, Bristol, London, Liverpool and Newcastle.
